Directions to the Cemetery:
Turn off Route 80 at Junction 635, Three Forks Road. On the right just above a rock house on a hill with a garage near the highway is the cemetery road leading up the mountain.
This Cemetery is not laid out in rows. It is a very old Cemetery, but well taken care of now by Hagerman descendant Curtis Hagerman and his sons. However, many old graves of our ancestors are lost, or marked only by fieldstones with no writing. Transcribed September 2004 by 15 year old Casondra Johnson, 8th generation descendant of William Hagerman, Sr. born 1796 buried somewhere on this hill.

| In the last row of graves near the uncleared hillside is approximately a dozen graves marked only by field stones. One is marked. : C. H. Died - June 29, 19? We believe this to be the grave of our gg- grandmother Cosby Payne Hagerman. We are still trying to identify the graves of our gg-grandfather John Hagerman, who was a Private in Co I of the 39th Ky Infantry during the Civil War along with Archibald Muncy, and John's father, William, who was a 1st Lt. We have reason to believe are buried here. |
